The Audio Guide is available 7 days per week, with no need to pre-book. The Audio Guide starts at the Information Centre in the historic heart of Akaroa, includes 18 points of interest and ends at the Main Wharf. The 1.5k gentle walk is on flat streets and suitable for all fitness levels. It takes about 90 minutes to complete. The dramatic story of Akaroa's role at the birth of New Zealand unfolds as you listen to a rich tapestry of tales and find the town's most beautiful buildings. |
